Karine Herduin, responsable magasin chez ET PACK

Meet Karine, Store Manager at ET PACK

The manufacture, delivery and repair of our machines require a large number of parts, which need to be purchased, stocked and distributed in the best possible way. This is the role of the warehouse manager, a position that Karine has held since 2018, and which we'd like to tell you more about.

Rigorous management of parts purchases and stocks

The warehouse is a central and crucial area for all our activities: it is thanks to the warehouse that our production units will be able to assemble and repair all the machines intended for our customers.

Shop supplies are managed directly by the manager, who assesses the needs of our customers and our teams on a daily basis for the manufacture and repair of machines. Karine ensures that parts are always available, while taking care not to overstock certain references.

Stocking products also raises issues of space management and accessibility: as shop manager, Karine ensures that parts are easy to identify and find, so that supplies can be delivered as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

Delivering and routing parts to our customers

As well as managing the shop, Karine is also responsible for receiving and delivering the various parts. The parcels received are carefully checked to ensure that they are in good condition. Once checked, the parts are then delivered to the various departments that need them, or if necessary, stored in the warehouse in the spaces provided for this purpose.

For the shipment of parts and machines, Karine is in charge of transport planning, in conjunction with the project manager in contact with the customer and the maintenance manager. She is also responsible for dealing with unforeseen circumstances, such as delays by carriers, and for finding potential solutions to get the customer's machine to its destination safely and on time.
